Seventeen years ago we set out to run a residential practice the way a good architecture studio runs: a limited slate of work, taken seriously, with the same people seeing it through.
Started in one market, grown by referral
Stackly began in 2009 with two advisors, one small Miami office and a conviction that the luxury end of the market was being served with volume tactics.
Every market we have entered since (Los Angeles, New York, Austin, Scottsdale and beyond) arrived through a client who moved and asked us to come with them.
That is still the growth model. Sixty-one percent of what we transact each year comes from people we have already worked with.
Philosophy
Three commitments we do not trade away
I
Capacity before ambition
No advisor at Stackly carries more than six active mandates. When we are full, we say so and offer a date rather than a queue.
II
Evidence over enthusiasm
Every price we recommend arrives with the comparables behind it. If our number is lower than you hoped, you will see exactly why.
III
Discretion as our standard
Roughly a third of our transactions never appear publicly. Quiet marketing is a service, not a favour, and it is available on request.
Who you will work with
Every market we serve has an advisor who lives in it. These four lead the practice. Each carries no more than six mandates at a time and stays on your file from the first walk-through to closing.
Marisol Vega
Principal · Miami
Marisol co-founded Stackly in 2009 and still runs a personal slate of mandates out of Miami. She sets the valuation standard the rest of the practice works to, and reviews every price recommendation that carries the firm's name.
Julian Reyes
Senior Advisor · Los Angeles
Opened the Los Angeles office in 2013. Works the Westside and the beach cities, and handles most of our architect-designed inventory.
Nadia Haddad
Senior Advisor · New York
Opened New York in 2016. Covers the co-op and condo boards downtown and on the Upper East Side, where the approval file matters as much as the offer.
Thomas Brandt
Advisor, Valuation · Scottsdale
Runs valuation for the western markets. Every comparable set the firm publishes is built or checked by him before an advisor takes it to a client.
We watch supply before we advise on price. Our advisors track permits, deliveries and absorption in every market we serve, because a beautiful home two years ahead of its neighbourhood is a different proposition entirely.
Where we hold ground
Four of the twelve markets where a Stackly advisor lives and works full time.

We take on new mandates twice a quarter.
Tell us what you are considering and we will tell you honestly whether we are the right practice for it, and when we could start.
